The public sector is now a place where mass spreading is taking place,” said President of the Public Services Association (PSA) Watson Duke. He took to his social media to say that workers were being advantaged and exploited by their employers. He made reference to non-essential workers being asked to be present at work, when, since the most recent lock down, they had little to no work related duties to perform.
As a result, Duke demanded that the Prime Minister shut down the entire Public Service with the exception of: water, lights and health care. He stated that every other public sector office should remain closed.
