Proof of Vaccination required in NYC for entry to: Indoor Dining, Bars, Fitness and Entertainment Centers. Will take full effect September 13.

“I want you to imagine the notion that because someone is vaccinated, they can do all the amazing things that are available in New York City. If you are unvaccinated, unfortunately, you will not be able to participate in many things” said Mayor of New York City, Bill de Blasio. on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, the mayor announced that from August 16, initiation of the mandate that is also adopted by France and Italy will begin, and will be fully engaged by September 13. He stated that New York City would now solid proof of vaccination to enjoy indoor dining, fitness and entertainment. The mayor stated that the mandate would be applied to both workers and customers.

Added to mandatory vaccination by the mayor of New York City are Municipal Officers. They are also required to be fully vaccinated by September 13, or would have to face testing every week.

The mayor has stated that despite person’s vaccination statuses, they are required to wear masks at all times.
