An attempt was made by the Government to force public officers of the Board of Inland Revenue (BIR) and Customs and Excise (CED) to make a choice as outlined in Section 18(2) of the Trinidad and Tobago Revenue Authority Act (TTRA Act) by 31st July 2024 when there exists no Organizational Structure, no Human Resource Policy, no job descriptions and no job titles at the TTRA.
