We respect the views of all members and will be guided by the majority position. The General Council’s decision to continue to reject the 4% offer was based on the sentiments of the majority.

Headline inflation is the overall rise in the prices of goods and services and is the total inflation rate for the economy. Data from the Central Statistical Office (CSO) with respect to headline inflation and the effects on public officers’ incomes were presented to the Chief Personnel Officer (CPO) during the negotiations meeting held on Monday 9th May, 2022.
On Friday 1st April 2022 the Chief Personnel Officer (CPO), Commander Dr. Daryl Dindial met with the Public Services Association of Trinidad and Tobago (PSA) which was represented by the PSA President, Comrade Leroy Baptiste, the PSA Executive Officers, General Council members and Conference of Delegate Members.
